This work has reached the exceptional level
What are we waiting for?

The Fear of Finding Peace

Isn't the stillness in that silent night a joy?
But, I feel from you no bliss.
Why in the final analysis, is there not a celebration?
Was the battle your intent and destination?

For our world was made for peace and the quiet of conciliation.
If non-familiarity with the concept of getting along is foreign
we are sadly in need of change.
A search of our hearts is imperative.

You say that you can't arrive at peace until others
understand your position.
Perhaps, God is asking you to understand
another position...and thus, find peace within.

I spent the weekend helping my grandkids move into their new little house. It was achingly memorable, and all I could think of was that I hoped they would find love and peace within those walls.I
