Years I spent in the dark,
Worry, crying.
My heart deeply wounded, and sore.
Wounded no more, just deep scars.
My heart finally sings peace,
My soul finally smiles,
My mind finally quiet.
I am at peace.
I am at ease.
I feel God smiling upon me.
I once cried tears of darkness,
Now, I cry tears of joy.
The sun has finally come,
After hiding in the dark night,
A spiritual cleansing,
A new found light.
I am very blessed.
