Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
my first swim of the summer

A Season of Swimming

by mermaids

refreshing
exhilarating
salty, water
cools my sweaty shoulders
my minnow friends
small spirits of the sea
guide my way
among the calmness
it is a new beginning
of uniting with an ocean
full of life
and soothing waves
my tail appears
my mermaid ways
begin
