Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
alouette potlatch post

The Evening Sighs

Ev'ning is drawing nigh.
In the trees a sigh
is heard ere the quiet falls.
As the sunset burns
our intellect learns
tomorrows heat nature calls.

Darkness is relieved
by torchlight received
among constellations laid
O'er us to allow
our thanks, heads bowed low,
for the beauty God has made

I thought I saw a posting for an alouette poem last time I checked. Now there are two for a terza rima.

This is an alouette . The rules are two or more six lines stanzas with syllable count of
5 5 7 5 5 7 and a rhyme scheme of aabccb ddeffe....
