I Am Not Purrrr-fect

I Am Not Perfect Contest Winner

I'm writing this to make amends,
that's if I can - it all depends
on whether I can make it work -
my laptop has a funny quirk...

It seems to copy my own brain.
It's quite annoying, and a drain
on energy, and my bleak funds.
I'll leave off mentioning my buns

that fell asleep five hours ago.
This chair is very hard, you know.
But numbing limbs cannot compare
to thoughts that vanish in thin air.

I try to focus, concentrate,
but I'm sure you'll appreciate
the difficulty one will find
in focussing an addled mind.
