Running Free

Wishing I Could Be A Palomino

by country ranch writer

I'd want to be a mare with beautiful long golden hair
Without a care in the world running across the meadow

Breathing in the clean mountain air, running free like the wind
You can hear my hooves echo as I fly across the meadow

Running free as the wind blows, everyone called me the wild child
You can't tie me down, I won't be owned by any man or beast

Yes, I am a wild child, like my dreaming I was a Palomino, yes, the wild one
Of my dreams, It all suddenly comes true, can you believe it too?

Streaking across the meadows, Palomino comes, over thundering mountain terrain
Dreams can come true and So beautiful, her mane flows into the wind as it rains

Running, running, so beautiful! I have this picture running through my head. My Palomino of my dreams, whispers my name, wild child, is her name, wild child is here to stay. Dreams can come true.
