Winter Cabin

Gather near fireplace
dismiss winter's frozen breath
crackling flame, hypnotizing

Twinkling embers pop
like flickers of lightning bugs
melt into warm memories


Sedoka Poem writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a sedoka poem. A sedoka consists of two unrhymed three-line stanzas, each with a syllable count of 5 - 7 - 7.
Often these stanzas go at the same subject from different perspectives, but that is not a requirement.


Winter isn't finished with us yet as we are anticipating snow so this seemed appropriate
