Scare me 100 words
A rustic tale

Josh frantically turned the key, as the engine stalled.
'What the hell', he roared into the void, 'what am I doin here, mid-winter, goin to hole up at Bill's place?
A series of gunshots rent the night air.
Bill's country bumpkin mores irritated Josh. Josh finally gave in to going rustic to try to salve his newly broken heart.
'Game country', Josh mused.
He got out to check his bearings. Gale force gusts swirled around. A few stars twinkled.
Frantic rustling in the undergrowth made Josh start. A hand protruded. Blood curdling screams echoed in the darkness.
Josh froze.
