This poem comes from a thought that I had a few years back while walking through Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. The thought came on so strong that I just had to write about it immediately. I've never posted it because I thought it too silly.
Dean Kuch shared with me this quote from the author Stephen King:
"Thoughts come and thoughts go... they just go. POOF! Vanishing into the stratosphere like a fart in a hurricane. The way you can tell the difference from thoughts that won't amount to a hill of beans, much less warrant enough attention to write a novel about, from those that do is the ones that do warrant your undivided attention just sorta hang around, refusing to leave. And those are the thoughts you wanna use when writing your stories."
