The buffet was a central focus in my grandparents' home

The Old Buffet

You
embrace
the room with
an old-world grace-
oh, gracious symbol
of a grand time and place.
Love and giving spirit waltz
with crystal glasses on your face
reflecting soft lights from long ago.
Memories whisper still- time can't erase.
