Dear Spider plant

by Abby Wilson-hand

Dear Spider plant,
I wish I knew what is wrong, you are so special to me for you came to me so full of life and now you'er turning brown. I miss my grandma to, I know she took the best care of you, maybe I don't talk to you enough, or allow you to listen to the radio like she did. I water you every day in hopes you will become green again.

What have I done so wrong, or do you just miss her as much as I do? Maybe you miss all the other plants at her home.As You were all split into different homes. I chose you because you were so big and beautiful. As you sit in my window next to my chair every day. I turn to you and say,"I miss her every single day". My grandmother took such good care of you and I don't know what I'm doing so wrong. But please brighten to the beautiful days we have ahead of us your all I have left of her memory and I need you to live on for her. Please turn green again, missing her but looking at you makes it ok for just one moment of my day.
