I couldn't find your name upon the list,
so write this so you know how much you're missed.
Your brilliant poetry inspired the rest,
yet in my mind, yours always was the best.

I hope and pray retirement is fun -
just know, for me, you'll always be the one
I wish would visit; maybe stay awhile,
and even show more of your special style!

For there is nothing written to compare,
and your reviews were always scribed with care.
Adewpearl, you're admired and set the bar.
For those who know, you'll always be a star!
