Writing Prompt Writing Prompt Write a haiku on the subject of death in nature -17 syllables or less -short/long/short format -two grammatically interconnected lines of concrete imagery (paints mental image) -satori line or aha-moment (can be the first or last line) -personification allowed -minimal punctuation and capitalization -artwork allowed but poem must stand alone -no author's notes -no end rhymes -no videos, music or animation -title must be: haiku (first line of poem) |
