I'm Sorry

by LoannaLois

"I'm sorry," she said, with a tear in her eye.
"I'm sorry," she said, to the wall.
There's always a person, a time, or a place...
"I'm sorry," is said to them all.

She's sorry when she has not done what she tried.
She's sorry when she did succeed.
She's always beginning each sentence she says,
with "I'm sorry, that's not what you need."

I wish she would not say she's sorry.
Friends laugh every time that she does.
She's always so sure that she did the wrong thing,
She missed just how right that she was.
