a Staircase style poem experiment
A chapter in the book From out of the Grayness
Blue Pencil Dream
by His Grayness
Blue Pencil Dream I took a ride on a blue pencil line It went to places I knew I’d never find Places where every emotion blew my mind Corners were round and all the holes were square Birds were not flying they just were standing everywhere Everything was perfectly synchronized except the diamond square Dancing in circles where the moon comes in and the stars never ever go Dragging a long chain of soft rubber bands pulling a mountain moving so slow Cameras all flashing to catch something nobody should ever imagine or ever know It was a dream where dreams had no right to be for nothing so crazy ever came to me But then I awoke with this blueprint on my bed outlining all the images the dark could see Without any light and only the dreamers imagination that somehow blindly came out from me Automatic writing I think it‘s sometimes called, where imagination is an urgency that can’t be stalled Well it messed up my bed and the sheets were all blue line tattooed just then alas Mother Nature called Upon my return the shock had not really subsided but in reality I finally decided, my mind had just been mauled |
