To believe is such a complex mechanism
Even though it is the only path to heaven
For faith itself is not just an emotion
But an energy to match tides of the ocean
Some say there is a magic in believing
Yet not some form of card trick in deceiving
For faith is real and cannot be pretended
It's commitment to a love that can't be ended
As eagles drop from mountains high each day
They can for faith in wind and wings they pray
As salmon trust their lives to rivers fury
Their faith in natures mission leaves no worry
Yet we must know that life is just one season
We've each been blessed to understand GOD'S reason
That we should know true faith opposes sorrow
And we should trust it as today believes tomorrow
That love is GOD'S sanctuary of gratitude
And faith is manifested through that attitude
If you expect that you will draw fresh breath
And sleep tonight will not claim your death
Then please have faith that God is with you now
And any help you need, He shall allow
Give thanks and let it be your constant love
And faith shall rain upon you from above
