Holding On To Our Memories
by Idamarty
When my family gathers together and then Travels down the road of remember when Tears fill our eyes at the speed of the years As we share the memories of laughter and tears Treasured recollections whose worth can't be measured Precious moments that will always be treasured There are times when my eyes will stray to that chair And I'll picture my mom and dad still sitting there Gone is the past yet it will live on and on `Til it is no longer spoken of when we have all gone |
