Five shark survivors form a club.

The Bite Club

by Aussie

Silica sands - sapphire seas
Silent shadow stalking
Surfboard seals swimming
Soundless sea
Jaws munching - man punching
Sirens screaming
Shark slips silently out to sea
Survivor swims to safety
Sanguine surf slaps silica sands
Surgeons sew surfboard seals
Australians in awe.

Five survivors from shark attacks; three men and two women form the Bite Club. They came together to share their stories and show the horrific scars they will carry all of their lives. Why the shark let go - no one knows. Shark attacks are common at dawn and dusk when they feed. They see surfboards as seals - their favorite food!
