We all writ at least one lullaby in our life
A chapter in the book From out of the Grayness
Your life's lullaby
by His Grayness
Your life's lullaby by His Grayness
Too soon to sing Too late to cry When life shall write Your lullaby The song of life We write alone In silent verses Seldom known To give our hearts In racing will Expecting they Shall never still We fall in love To stand in grace And live the truths We can't erase We smile and cry Where feelings urge In pools of self Where we submerge The mirror waits To wish you well But for some souls Becomes their hell While time the wind That never ends Maintains the rule That never bends Today has gone Tomorrow may not Deliver what you Think it ought But then again You are still here Tomorrow offers Love or Fear The choice you make To smile or cry Becomes the lyrics Of your life's lullaby |
