My words...
A chapter in the book Scribed Relief
I Hope They Dance
by Jewell McChesney
If my words
could dance I'd hope they would pirouette across stages of life beneath spotlights of sunrise or gleaming sunsets Grace and dignity directing every sultry move While my newest song intrigues your sense of sound - awakening missing rhythms of your heart My wish is for each piece of verbiage to frolic among your memories the way a child would in dandelion fields come summertime My desire to stir your secrets like old tear jerking songs triggering what you thought you held too deep to deliver ever again Oh to be the choice drink of your addiction bouncing off your tongue like finest champagne to savor in the moment If my words could dance May they waltz and tango and break your will Perhaps they'll even draw you to my open arms and never let you go or send you on your way to find missing treasures you've held deep far too long Oh if my words could dance they'd dance upon your soul |
