Behind the curtain of the darkest night.
A chapter in the book If The Jester Cried At Night
As The Dark Clouds Roll In
by mrgrunty
It's so lonely,
disquieting silence plays the theme as the dark curtain descends. It's so quiet, dim memories tantalise the thought of finding the smile I have lost. It's so cold, quaking shivers rumble like thunder as the dark clouds roll in. It's so sad, reflected here is the outer shell of a once joyous and happy man. It's much needed, I don't know what but I can tell you whatever it is I need it like air. It's so lonely, precious moments spent in conversation with the only one who'll listen. |
