A girl who doesn't want summer to end!

Why September?

by PoetryStar

The dazzling sun strokes my hair,
Chlorine water in my ear,
the blue wind blows me a kiss,
Things couldn't get better than this.

Ice cream shivering on my tongue,
I've beeen dancing too much now my body's numb,
Flip flops flopping and my smile is big,
Things couldn't get better than this.

The last day of August is sadly coming,
No more sweet summer guitars strumming,
Summer is about to be over,
Why September?
