Cry for Peace
by robina1978
I hate every war
Why have they always been? We all want to stop them! None left, not even one All fights over and done Centuries of much blood Remembrance Days world-wide Some blood nearly caused flood Young lives were sacrificed What purpose did they serve? I am sure most condemn Better fate: young deserve I hate every war Graves with men side by side War brides grieving, crying Politicians abide |

The Ampeletum form consists of 4 quatrains of 6 syllable lines. The meter is up to you and the rhyme scheme is Abcb bded fgcg Aehe so that rhymes in one stanza are picked up in another. The capital A designates that the first line of stanza 1 is repeated as the first line of stanza 4. No specific meter here used.
