This poem is basically focused on how our conscience,as little as it may be, can have a controlling effect on us.It is too little to grow on its own in the sense that, without help from our actions,it has no business growing. But once we do something to provoke it, it never stops growing until it is satisfied. therefore it is like another side of us with a different opinion about a particular issue.
