The Beauty of...
A chapter in the book If The Jester Cried At Night
Teardrop
by mrgrunty
I traced the lonely teardrop
in its journey down her face. It trickled with such beauty and a haunting sense of grace. The time for love was over, it was that she'd come to tell. I gazed upon her beauty as the tears began to well. A numbing loss of feeling, to have to watch her cry. I'll hold and make it better, or I'll sing a lullaby. The journey of that teardrop as it tore into my heart, is the saddest thing I've witnessed and it blew my world apart. |
