A child that wasn't

Blue Child

by amada

Romance to the Child I Never Had

Sometimes I see the child I never had.

Years ago, in a fantasy place now forever gone.

He could have had an adventurous mind
and walnut eyes, just like his dad
and from me, a touch of melancholy
and a tear ready to flow....

We talked about him, and we bathed him
and caressed him in inest oils.

We wanted him, we wish him with overlapping prayers
and with so much force
and with so much faith

In those deep days of passion and dread.

The constellation never let him come to earth,
he was too loved above the stars, to come to earth....

He remained above among the selfish stars.

Still, we saw his first tooth emerge
he walked among us, dripping icecream on hands

even after I was the only one left.

not because I never had him
It means
that I don't miss him.
