The Memory of Kings
by Larry5000
To 'the memory of kings' let's raise our glass a toast to those years and to times long past. Throughout the noble lands kingdoms stood tall some rose to great victory, while others did fall. While under king's orders, knights rode their steed throughout the land, to impart the king's creed. And on the field of battle, with every last breath their swords swung hard, as they fought to the death. Oh those glorious times that feed legend's lore of magic and dragons and battles of war. To castles long gone and those that yet stand a painted picture we see in a famed crown land. So let us all remember, their music and dance of strong noble courage, to love and romance, And in all of your thoughts and praises you sing remember ever so fondly 'the memory of kings'. |
