A chapter in the book Emotions of Love and Life

Oh, How Time Fly's or Does It?

by Angel Debbie

Oh, How Time Fly's or Does It?

Feeling like an idiot on this first day of May
Thought it was night, but it was actually day

It's close to seven thirty, time to get dressed, don't want to be late
Be on time the employer wants, I'm always on time and that is so great!

I make my lunch cause machines cost too much
Half the time they only have crap and such

I say, "Lets go we got to leave for work now."
"Why? It's only seven thirty AM," As the driver takes his bow.

"You're way off on your time,
What pill did you take this time?"

"Nothing, where did the time go?" I said,
"No where, you need to climb back into bed"

"You must have gotten out on the wrong side."
I was laughing so hard my eyes have tearfully cried.

To find out it was still morning, time didn't move
I got to get out of this crazy, goofy, silly, groove

I know I'm old and time flies by fast
But this is ridiculous this time it did certainly last!

Boy, am I glad it's morning and not really night
I'm not ready for the cruddy work tonight!

I got stuff to do around the house
And so do you, my sweet little mouse

Nighttime will come soon enough for going to work
Then it will be time to go wacky and berserk

This is a true story, I actually thought it was nighttime as I work third shift and thought I lost 6 hours after being told It wasn't the time I thought it was. Enjoy my confusion with time. I sure did!
