Loves her books now you let her be

Loves her Dad that's easy to see
Knows in life nothings for free.

Mother-like she seems to be
Makes decisions just like me.

Plays with her brother and the DS9
Wants to be player one, to hear he brother whine.

Has no boyfriend and wonders why
Feels like a tomboy that has to sigh

Having the smarts and a pretty face
She's blessed with a lot of grace.

Ashley is a special kind of girl
It's just going to take some time for her heart to twirl

Boys aren't looking for brains these days
Ashley is now just is going through teenage phase

I'm not pretty and sometimes don't care
All I want is to be treated fair

Growing up as a teenage girl
Someday she'll send a males heart to whirl

For when the time is right she will know
But for now she will have to grow
