Winter is approaching, cold, snow

Blowing drifting, piling high

Hats, scarves, mittens got to buy

Children's faces become a glow



Rosie cheeks of cherry red

Building a snowmen, big and tall

Watch as the children have a ball

Time to come in, now has been said



Hot chocolate is ready for warmth and love

With kisses, hugs from Mom, ain't that grand

Before the your sweet dreams then off to slumber land

Where Mom says a prayer to the God up above



Good night sweet children of mine

Great dreams you will have tonight

As you have played nice today without a fight!

You children make Moms heart just chime!
