Blue Moon Forever

by Eternal Muse

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The winter Moon professed its sexy disk
and smiled at me until my spirits soared
"You flirt with me; I think I am at risk
to fall for you, I don't know what's in store."

I said those words to the enchantress Moon
She dropped her silver on my smitten face
Her lunarescent opium made me swoon
I found myself ensconced in her embrace.

I have discovered paradise up there
where moon and stars had laid their lacy cloth
I am elated in their stellar lair
My cosmic heaven happened while on Earth.

Oh sapphire Moon, you've won this pilgrim soul
I'm yours to stay; I hear your blue bells toll!
