A chapter in the book The Flower You Once Held

Pain and Sorrow

by Laidy

Pain And Sorrow

Longing and desiring,
Wishing, yearning, and craving,
Aching, lusting, and hungry for a lifetime of love.

Affection, worship, and devotion,
hiding, concealing, and covering my pain,
my ache, my hurt, my tenderness, my grief,
my anguish, my torture, my agony, and my sorrow.

Forgetting and overlooking the
facts, the truth, the actuality,
the details and the reality that i am somebody,
I have a name, a purpose, a reason, a point, a function in this world.

In my life, my existence, my time, my days, my
years, and in my being; loneliness, solitude,
isolation, and seclusion have stopped.

Discontinued, ended, and shutdown: my dreams,
thoughts, imaginings, and bright ideas,
but still pain and sorrow will weaken, deteriorate, and decline,
fade, subside, reduce, and lessen once you are one with yourself.
