My heart beats in silent thoughts
as I look into your eyes.
I feel the love you give to me
beneath the summer sky.

The love my heart longed to know,
I never thought would come
now fills my every open pore
like the warmth of the noon-day sun.

You fill the void, the emptiness
that stayed within my soul ;
And gave me back, what I had lost
so very long ago.

The feelings now, we have shared
every thought yet unspoken
I hold them all, within the walls
of treasured glass unbroken.

For you have restored my faith
in all that I hold true,
So now and forever my love
my heart belongs to you.
