A poem of Love crossing the barriers of time

A chapter in the book Romantic Moments

Love Immortal

Love rings eternal
through all the barriers of time
joining two hearts, and two souls
forever within their minds.

Captivating their spirit
to bind their immortal love
one that transcends the heavens
to distant worlds above.

What makes this love survive
crossing over life to death
telling him, she'll wait for him
as she breathes her last breath.

And looking up he knows
she'll be there forever more
waiting on him patiently
along the distant shore.

Together to share their hearts
throughout the eternal ages
writing yet another sonnet
on love's immortal pages.
