The Thought of Losing You

I couldn't bear the thought
of a day without you here;
your soft gentle spoken words
or your touches when you are near

The times that you hold me
that you tell me I'm the one
who'll bring you joy and laughter
through happiness and fun.

The times you just reach out
to have me close to you;
that I may feel your tenderness
in all that you may do.

You know darling you mean so much
that words can not describe
the many thoughts I have of you
as each passing day go by.

It would be so very hard,
to live one day alone
to not feel you close to me
or hear your voice on the phone.

The thought of losing you
for now, to much to bear
for my mind would never think
that you will never not be there.

For each day from the beginning
you were a apart of me
and through our lives together
you will always be.
