a Sonnet
Starlight Fantasy
by Eternal Muse
I look for stars in cloudy autumn sky No longer are they bright; their glows recede My mood is blue today, I want to cry But misty sky and stars don't know my need. Oh Milky Way, to you I plead my soul Your silver light is my salvation there in your celestial kingdom where I stroll each night when sleep buoys my silent prayer. I am the Queen, my gown is sewn with stars my knight the Saturn prays for my command My carriage waits for royal trip to Mars where sky is red and dreams are swift and grand. May meteors deliver me to you my heart's alight, my mood no longer blue! |
