little free verse about the complications of love

Something Intrinsic

by isabelteeth

I’ve forgiven my dad for a million terrible things

I can’t think of a single one of them

And I’m crying at my cat for dying in the future

He’s the first one who ever chose me

He puts his paw on my arm and kisses me into a kid again

Something’s intrinsic about love
