Getting Dark

It’s getting dark, though the church bells have just rung at noon. Glad I brought my tablet. Can record the moment. Is it an eclipse?
Ouch. The only light I have now is from my tablet. I can hear the rustling of the spring leaves and the squawking of the sparrows.
What’s that ? A big bang? Is this how it will end? Just like it began.
Silence. Weird. What’s that in the sky? Doves. White doves. Would this be world peace? Or is that too much to hope for?
Will my grandsons live in a peaceful world?..BYE..BYE
