Surrender

The House of White

by Carlos' girl

The other colors in her home
They were the palest of sea foam
The pinks and blues, the orchid greens
Besides the white were sometimes seen
A cliff was laid upon the sand
And there her house would learn to stand
The former color she'd recall
The solid black, the old sea wall
They would subside, the waves of pain
Each year like sand, each single grain
They all washed up into the light
The soft sea foam, the house of white

You can rebuild in the house of addiction. White is the international color of surrender.
