I loved primary school
School Days

It was my first day at school
I was all set to go
To meet lots of friends
At the local convent
To my surprise
Nobody noticed me
As I thought they would
I was an only child
And was so disappointed
When the kind Nun, our teacher
Brought me to the front of our class
She said ‘This is Gabriel’
Make her welcome, be kind.’
Her advice was taken by all of the pupils.
In no time at all I gained many friends
Seven wonderful years
Then I moved onto college
Couldn’t wait to leave
