You are you

I am I

There is no reason to ask why

Because

You are you

I am I

Sometimes we do not see eye to eye

But we must learn to pass that by

We often tread a thin line

And there is so little time.

You cannot make me into what you expect

But each other we should respect

I am the one who has a standard to set

But let's not argue to our regret.

Our journeys are separate but together

and just perhaps

Together

We will love forever.
