As the Planet Revolves

Dale looked across the room and saw his wife wrapped in the arms of her lover Gil.
"I hope I'm not interrupting," he said.
Gil looked back, smiling, as Dale’s wife pushed away from her companion.
“Interrupting what?” she asked.
Revealing a revolver, Dale replied, “Why, Gil’s last unventilated moments.”
