The Illusion of You

by 20hrockwell

To know the self is a life's work.
We grow impatient.

We try to love without knowing ourselves and it drives us mad, but it drives us.

We take this idea of the self and we distort it with illusion by our own delusion.

We live between what we are, what we want to be and what we think we are.
The self Is the illusion rationalized by life's delusions.

To exist in the self, but not of the self Is the most dreadful of our condition.
It kills us, maybe though thats all death is.
Failure to know.
We were made to fail.
Accepting the inevitably of
this failure is too a life's work.
