Battling insecurities

You're Losing Me

Persuade me darling, wrong, or right
Resist the urge to start a fight
Deceive me dear, hold on tight
And I'll abstain from taking flight

A gentle kiss, now hold my gaze
Determine if a spark remains
Interest piqued in many ways
A mere coal can start a blaze

Persuade me dear, right, or wrong
Use melody, sing a song
Rekindle the flame, I think long gone 
Convince me that I still belong

Whisper your lies and I'll have no clue
Start it with I and end it with you
Love in the middle, use it as glue
Make me believe your words are true
