When We Kissed

When we kissed
 
new life breathed into me,
and I felt the hope
of a new beginning. 
 
When we kissed,
 
you held me
and looked into my eyes, 
and I felt life
becoming stronger.
 
When we kissed,
 
fear had no place
in my heart, 
and I look to the now
with confidence
and no longer feel
controlled by regrets.
 
When we kissed,
 
I felt myself giving
to the adventure
of a love that will
never let me go.
