My numb mind aches from the chaos within.
It needs to stop, if I only knew when.

White noise clattering as I ponder here.
Static deafens the loud sounds in my ear.

I surrender and open my arms wide
But I still hear the silent cries inside.

I see the roaring wave as tears stream down,
Yet I still hear turmoil's deafening sound.

Breathe in deep to feel the life sigh out loud.
I scream at the air; to my knees, I fall.

Waves wash o'er me like a blanket of love.
Peace comes as I give thanks to You above.
