you don't know who I am


you are my dawn and dusk
the sun rises and sets
with you in my thoughts


you don't know who I am


but you abide in my heart
cuddled by tenderness
and rocked by crimson blood


you don't know who I am


but when I see you
my world makes sense
and my aim is true


you don't know who I am


my love poems go unread
amidst others on your desk
poets dream of being with you
 
... but ...

you don't know who I am
