As if you could lasso the moon

I found comfort in your love

I fell into a swoon 

It was this feeling

I couldn’t escape it

When you didn’t want to stay 

I found myself in a whirl

Where I didn’t feel safe

It was this fear 

In my own durance

Without your assurance? 

It’s like you could heal me

As if you held all the truth

Who even am I

Without having you? 

It was this realization

When I least expected it

Some motivation

To pick up where you left it

It was the courage to get out of bed

It was fighting those thoughts in my head
