Spousal abuse
Her Just Reward
by PENofFIRE
Marcie crouched in the corner; her whole body shaking. Jim had just come home drunk again. Unhappy with his dinner, he flung it across the room. Now she not only had to clean the mess but had to prepare another meal, one to his liking. He had come at her with fists balled, ranting and raving about everything and nothing.
Behind closed lips, she cried out to Jesus. "Lord, I have prayed for his salvation. When Lord?"
Jesus spoke, "In due time."
Marcie shuddered, "When will the abuse stop?"
"Now my child."
With that, Marcie found herself in Jesus' arms.
