This work has reached the exceptional level
free verse

winter ends and begins

WINTER
ends
 
then
 
spring
 
s  p  r  i  n  g  s
 
its days absorb
 
more of what has dripped
 
and drizzled
 
from stiff, thawing limbs
 
reaching across and above us
 
until
 
summer
                            s
                    r
           a
       o 
s
 
and
 
all that can be accomplished -- is
 
then
 
fall
 
f
a
l
l
s
 
nature folds into the earth
 
and
 
WINTER
begins
 
again
